9. SYSTEM SETTINGS

9.2 Alarm clock

The alarm clock will switch the DABMAN 14 on at the set alarm time. 2
alarm times can be programmes. How to set the alarm clock 1 is given as
an example. For the alarm clock to work, the DABMAN 14 must be sup-
plied with power by the power supply unit. The alarm function is disabled in
battery mode.

9.2.1 Set up alarm clock 1

In the submenu [System] use the button <Tune or Tune> to
select [Alarm].

Press the Select button.
Use <Tune or Tune> to select the alarm

you want to set. So [alarm 1] in this example and then press the
Select button once more.
[Alarm 1 Setup] appears on the display.
Press the Select button to start the setup.

The display shows [Time On 06:00] with the first digit flashing.
You can now enter a new time for the alarm. First select the hours with
the <Tune, Tune> buttons and press the Select button to apply the
changes.
Then the minutes are entered. Adopt these changes with the
Select button as well.

Then enter the duration with <Tune, Tune>.
Then adopt this entry by pressing the Select button.

Then enter the source. BUZZER, DAB and FM are always
available.
To adopt these settings press the Select button. If you have

selected DAB or FM, you can then specify whether you want
to be woken up with the last station you listened to, or by one of
your set favourites.

The next step is the alarm repetition. You can choose
between daily (every weekday), once, week days (Mon-Fri) or
weekends (Sa and Sun).

To adopt the settings press the Select button.
