Description of operation
Emergency function B (Emergency door function)

Basic position:
Turn the key in the opening direction until the end stop, turn
back partially to release the key
Locked position
From the basic position, turn the key 360° in the locking
direction and immediately turn it back to remove the key
(not to the end stop). Alternatively, from the dead-bolt
position, turn the key back 360° to remove the key (not the
end stop).
Dead-bolt position
Turn the key in the locking direction until the door is locked
and remove the key. After operating an emergency door
from inside, the door automatically returns to the locked
position.
Operation advice
For doors which must sometimes allow passage from inside
and outside (basic position). After operating the handle from
inside in the locked or dead-bolt position, the outside handle
is automatically disengaged after the door is closed. Emer-
gency function B means that the door can always be opened
from inside (emergency door function).

Basic position
Turn the key in the opening direction until the key can be
removed.
Opening position
Turn the key in the opening direction until the end stop
and hold in position when opening the door (emergency
function). The door automatically returns to the basic
position after the key is removed.
Dead-bolt position
Turn the key in the locking direction until the door is locked
and remove the key. After operating an emergency door
from inside, the door automatically returns to the basic
position.
Operation advice
For doors which must prevent unauthorised entry from
outside. The door cannot accidently be left unlocked since
once the key has been removed and the door closed, the
door can only be opened again using a key. Emergency
function E means that the door can always be opened from
inside (emergency door function).
