3 Operating instructions
3.1

Inspection before use

Check if the tyres are sufficiently
inflated before you start using the
wheelchair.
3.2

Getting in and out

Transfer forwards
Apply the wheelchair brake.
Fold up the foot support (A)
Seat yourself in the chair.
Transfer sideways
1. Apply the wheelchair brake.
2. Loosen the cap (B) and remove the
armrest (C).
3. Seat yourself in the chair.
3.3

Parking

Ibis XC
Apply the brake to the wheelchair by
pushing the footbrake (A) downward or
pulling the handle (B) backward.
Ibis XA
Apply the brake to the wheelchair by
pushing the handle (B) downward.
•
Make sure the brake handle is
pushed all the way backward
while driving the wheelchair, so
that the brake cannot be applied
accidentally.
•
If the wheelchair is stopped on a
slope, the brake should be
applied to prevent the
wheelchair from moving down
the slope.
