Take the rest of the porous
plastic insert and press into
the hole in the distal adapter
and cut or sand to fit adapter
surface.
4.
Insert the expulsion valve
into the hole on the lateral
side of the lock body. Insert
the rubber plug on the other
side of the hole, so that air
will be expelled through the
porous plastic insert.
5.
Attach a 4-hole adapter of
your choice, use Loctite 242
on the four M6 screws. Check
to make sure that the length
of exposed screw to engage
with the Alpha Lock distal ad-
apter is between 4 mm and
9 mm. Tighten the screws to
12 Nm. Assemble the rest of
prosthesis.Please Note:

Apply Loctite to the threads
of the locking pin and tighten
the pin into the Alpha Locking
liner until the base of the
pin meets the umbrella. If
the pin is too long is can be

the pin make sure to leave at
least five ribs to guarantee a
reliable connection.

Alpha Locking liner and the
