How do I convert the TRIMAX into the IMAGE 3
booster seat?
When your child reaches a weight of around 15 to 18 kg,
sound judgement should be used regarding removing the
backrest. For children who still fall asleep a lot while in
the car, the backrest provides a headrest and the crossover
straps are good security. We recommend removing the
backrest when the back of your child's head reaches the
top edge.
Undo the two bolts on the lower section and pull the lower
section down and away.
Undo the seam at the belt end of the central adjuster
and pull the belt out backwards. Remove the belt system
from the seat bucket by threading the clasps out through
the holes.
To separate the backrest and the booster seat, remove the
bolt on each side, after which you can fold the backrest
back and away.
If the seat lift is to be in continual use, for the sake of safety
(side impact cushion) please have the CONCORD Lift Pro
backrest retrofi tted.
Note: When retrofi tting a CONCORD backrest, please
read the retrofi tting instructions that apply to the relevant
model.
Using the IMAGE 3 as a booster cushion
The cushion can be used on any of the seats in the car wich
has a three-point belt. Accident statistics show that the
safest place for it is behind the front passenger seat.
Place the Image on the seat and place your child on it.
Fasten the three-point seat belt in the same way as for
an adult.
Now thread the belt into the belt apertures for it in the sides
of the booster cushion. The bottom section of the
diagonal belt must be threaded through the belt aperture
together with the lap belt. The top section passes between
the shoulder and neck of the child. If the height of your
car seat belt can be adjusted, move it to a suitable height.
