back as possible, depending on the presence of
other passengers on the rear seat, and adjust the
back in upright position. If the car features a belt
height regulator, secure the latter in the lowest
position. Then, make sure that the belt regulator
is positioned far back (or aligned) compared to the
back of the vehicle's seat.
If the front seat is equipped with front airbag, we
suggest installing the Car seat on this seat. Always
refer to your vehicle's instruction manual when
installing the Car seat on any seat protected by
airbag.
WARNING! Never install the Car seat on a vehicle's
seat featuring only horizontal belt with two
anchoring points (Fig. 6)
Make sure that the buckle of the car's three-point
belt is not too far up (Fig. 13). Otherwise, try to
install the Car seat on another vehicle's seat.
INSTALLATION OF THE CAR SEAT INSIDE
THE VEHICLE
WARNING! Never thread the vehicle's belt in
positions other than those indicated in this
instruction booklet: Your child's safety may be
compromised!
The car seat belts' slots are clearly marked on the
child Car seat with red colour guide items.
WARNING! These instructions, in the text and image
versions, refer to an installation on the rear seat,
right side. Follow the same steps to install the Car
seat in other positions.
1. Position the Car seat on the selected seat.
2. Open tensioner (K) and clamp (O) in the upper
part of the Car seat (Fig. 7)
• Fasten the car seat belt to the seat's buckle (Fig. 8)
3. Thread the abdominal belt section between
the base of the Car seat and the vehicle's seat,
inserting it in the lower red belt guides (R) (Fig.
9A - Fig. 9B).
WARNING! Always make sure not to tangle the belt
during this operation.
4. Introduce the diagonal belt section in the
upper red belt guides (Q) located in the upper
part of the Car seat (Fig. 10), sliding it without
tangling it.
WARNING! Always make sure that the belt is
properly introduced inside the belt guides.
5. Pull the diagonal safety belt, starting from
the buckle towards the reel (a-b), to properly
tension the belt (Fig. 11).
6. Complete the installation, securing first the
belt-lock clamp (O) and then the tensioner (K)
(Fig. 12).
7. Check that the Car seat is properly installed
(Fig. 13).
WARNINGS FOR THE PROPER
INSTALLATION OF THE CAR SEAT
WARNING! Do not compromise safety, ALWAYS
check the following after installation:
• the vehicle's belt is not tangled in any point.
• The belt is well tensioned in all areas.
• At the end of the operations, the Car seat must
adhere well to the vehicle's seat; otherwise,
repeat the installation procedure.
SEATING THE CHILD IN THE CHILD CAR
SEAT
• Before sitting your child in the child Car seat,
press the harness adjustment button (D) and,
at the same time, hold the two child Car seat
harnesses under the shoulder straps, and pull
them in your direction to slacken them (Fig. 14).
• Unfasten the buckle (F) of the child Car seat
harnesses by pressing the red button (Fig. 15),
and pull the harnesses in an outward direction.
Now the child can be placed in the child Car seat
(Fig. 16).
• Position the crotch strap correctly, take the
harnesses, overlap the two buckle straps (Fig.
17A) and push them together firmly inside the
buckle slot, until a click is heard (Fig. 17B).
HOW TO REMOVE THE CHILD FROM THE
CHILD CAR SEAT
To remove the child from the child Car seat, press
the red button on the buckle (F) and release the
restraint harness.
ADJUSTING THE HEADREST AND
HARNESSES
The height of the headrest and restraint harnesses
can be simultaneously adjusted to 6 positions by
pressing the button located at the rear (M).
WARNING! To adjust them correctly, the headrest
must be fitted so as to allow that the harnesses
come out from the backrest at the height of the
child's shoulders (Fig. 18). To adjust the height,
press the adjustment button (M), located at the rear
of the backrest (Fig. 19) and, at the same time, slide
the headrest until the desired position is reached
(Fig. 20); now release the button and ease the
headrest until a click is heard, indicating that it is
locked correctly into position.
