Finishing vacuuming

CAUTION
Risk of injury!
Forcefully retracting the
mains cord can cause a
"whipping effect" (on ac-
count of the mains cord
swinging uncontrollably).
This could result in injury.
Hold onto the mains cord

when winding it up.
1. To switch the appliance off,
press your foot down on the
on/off foot switch (1).
2. Pull the mains plug (25) out of
the socket.
3. To retract the mains cord (24),
press your foot down on the
foot switch (2) for cord retrac-
tion. To avoid a 'whipping ef-
fect', hold the mains plug (24)
on the mains cord (25) in your
hand.

Moving the appliance

The cord retraction foot switch (2)
dually serves as a handle.

• Fold up the handle (2) and
then use it (2) to lift the appli-
ance for transport.
