Setting the suction
force

You can adjust the suction force
as needed by using the air by-
pass vent (22). The covering of
the air by-pass vent (22) can be
adjusted as desired.
Should you accidentally
allow the vacuum cleaner
to come into contact with
an object, opening the air by-
pass vent immediately reduces
the suction force. This remedial
action will prevent such items
from being drawn into the dust
bin.
Finishing vacuuming

Risk of injury!
Forcefully
retracting
mains cord can cause a "whip-
ping effect" (on account of
the mains cord swinging un-
controllably). This could result
in injury.
■ Hold on to the mains cord
when winding it up.

1. Use your foot to press the on/
off foot switch (3) to switch the
appliance off.
2. Pull the mains plug (11) out of
the socket.
