It is especially suitable for amputees with very long residual limb (low clearance). Due to
the special combination of carbon and polyurethane, the prosthesis foot absorbs the heel
impact. Supported by the dynamic heel element, this construction enables a soft transition
from heel impact to full ground contact.
The optional use of heel wedges allows the heel characteristics of the foot to be adjusted
and customized to the patient's requirements.
The 1E56 Axtion mainly consists of the following components (Fig. 2):
(1) Carbon base spring
(2) Polyurethane connecting element
(3) Dynamic heel element of the carbon base spring
(4) Upper carbon spring
(5) Pyramid adapter with elastomer wedge
(6) Footshell (accessory)
(7) Threaded plate
(8) Heel wedge (optional)

NOTICE
Risk of damage as a result of improper use. The foot is designed to be used with the
footshell. Please avoid frequent removal of the foot from, and insertion into, the footshell
as this can damage the carbon fiber elements.
NOTICE
Damage caused by improper footshell assembly. Please do not use a screwdriver to
insert/remove the carbon foot into/from the footshell as this can cause damage to the carbon
elements and/or foot component. We recommend using e.g. the 2C100 tool (accessories).
NOTICE
Risk of damage as a result of improper use. The footshell must not be dusted by talcum
powder as it would increase the abrasion. Use silicone spray if need be. Replace the
footshell if it becomes damaged or worn.
