USER INTERFACE

4.3.1

USER TERMINAL

The user interface comprises:
132x64 pixel backlit LCD display.
6 backlit buttons.
The connection between the microprocessor board and the user terminal involve a 4-pole
telephone cable equipped with RJ11 connector.
The terminal is fed directly from the control board.

KEY LED MANAGEMENT

The key led indicators turn on in the following instances.

Description
Displays the alarms and resets normal
operating conditions.
Accesses the main menu.
Goes back one level in the mask tree if
you are in the header masks or returns
to the main mask.
Move around the masks and set control
parameter values.
Confirms entered data.
Description
Increase or decrease screen contrast.
Increase or decrease screen contrast.
In the shared keyboard mode, this
combination allows to share screenshots
and parameters among LAN connected
units.
Press for 5 seconds to set the LAN
address on the user terminal.
With the user terminal set to 0, it allows
to configure the LAN address on the
control board.
Description
Fixed in case of alarm and flashing in
case of signal.
Once the [ALARM] key is pressed, the
led becomes fixed.
In lack of alarms/signals, the led is off.
When the unit is operating (ventilation
ON).
Upon turning on the unit, when pressing
any key or activating an alarm/signal.
It will disengage after three minutes of
inactivity on the keyboard of the user
terminal.

START

5.1

MACHINE START

Commissioning must be carried out by expert and authorized personnel only.
The specialist Engineer will test the equipment, carrying out checks, calibrations and
commissioning according to the applicable procedures falling under their responsibility.
The experienced Operator must address questions to the specialist Engineer in order to
acquire the necessary information to be able to carry out the control and operation activities
that will fall under their responsibility.
5.2
START
Measure the inlet current and compare it with the maximum nominal current stated on the
electrical diagram of the unit. Refer to the start-up checklist (service technician).

METHOD OF USE

6.1

USE PROVISIONS AND WARNINGS

The day-to-day use of the equipment does not require the presence of the operator, who
must only intervene to carry out regular checks, in case of emergency, or in case of planned
starts and stops.
If these activities are carried out consistently and correctly, good long-term performance of
the machine and the equipment will result.
INFORMATION
Failure to comply with the procedures can cause bad operation of
the machine and the system, resulting in early deterioration
6.2

DESCRIPTION OF CONTROLS

The various controls are shown below, with their descriptions and functions. These controls
are positioned on the frontal panel
MICROPROCESSOR DISPLAY
Microprocessor: manages the operation process, with the possibility of setting parameters
and monitoring operating conditions.
The operating details of the machine and interfaces can be found in the User Manual.
6.3

EMERGENCY STOP

Considering that there are no directly accessible moving parts in the machine, there is no
need to install an emergency stop device.
In any case, if installed this device would not reduce the risk as the emergency stop would
be identical to the normal stop using the main switch.
6.4

EXTENDED MACHINE INACTIVITY

In case of extended machine inactivity (e.g. seasonal shutdown), the specialist Engineer
must:
carry out a leak test on the system
opening of the line circuit breaker
6.5

START-UP AFTER EXTENDED MACHINE INACTIVITY

Before starting the machine, carry out all the maintenance activities.
The operator must also carry out adequate checks at the start of the unit.
