7 INCHES DISPLAY

The 7 inches display is the touchscreen version of the classic controller and can be installed
during the unit's production, for any additional information about it, refer to the software user
manual of the unit.
3.3

NETWORK ANALYZER

This device provides continuous measurement of power consumption, monitoring current,
voltage and power.
These values can be sent to BMS systems via a Modbus connection, fitting the unit with a
communication board to manage the specific protocol.
The Network Analyzer kit is supplied as an optional and its implementation is to be
performed by the installer.
Connect the device to the indoor unit via RS485 serial cable, as shown on the unit wiring
diagram.
3.4

DUAL POWER SUPPLY

The dual power supply kit allows the unit to keep operating when there is a power failure on
the main power line.
In the event of a power failure on the main power line, the system automatically switches to
the secondary or backup power supply. This ensures complete redundancy of the power
supply and consequently total unit cooling capacity even in emergency situations.
The kit is supplied as an optional.
3.5

ELECTRIC HEATERS

A-431 ELECTRIC HEATER: The optional is factory installed.
Tubular electric heater with steel fins.
Electric heaters have a three-stage control.
The optional is available only for 1200mm depth frame version.

FIRE/SMOKE DETECTOR

A-521 FIRE DETECTOR: The component is supplied as optional.
Connection cable is not supplied. The heat detector has been
designed to identify temperatures at which fires may start.
When the temperature exceeds the set threshold the
relay is activated to signal an alarm.
A-511 SMOKE DETECTOR: The component is supplied as optional.
Connection cable is not supplied. The optical smoke detector
senses the presence of combustion by-products (visible smoke)
and activates an alarm.
Refer to the unit's electrical diagram for more information about the detector's installation.

PRE-COMMISSIONING

4.1

BEFORE STARTING THE MACHINE

Before contacting the Specialist Engineer, who will execute the first commissioning running
test, the Installer must carefully check that the installation complies with the requirements
and specifications set out during the design stage, making sure:
that the electrical connection is correct, and that it guarantees compliance with the
current Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive.
that the cooling connection to the condensing unit is correctly completed;
that there are no leaks in the refrigerant circuit;
that all shut-off valves are open.
4.2

FIRST START

The following first start procedure refers to a system without humidifier or heaters installed:
1.
Check that the system master switch is in the ON position.
2.
Move the on-off switch (on the back of the unit) to OFF, by opening the rear panel.
FRONT
3.
Check that the fan, electric heater (if applicable) and humidifier (if applicable) circuit
breakers are OFF.
4.
Turn the magnetic switch that supplies the auxiliary circuits ON.
5.
To identify this switch, see the "Wiring Diagram" of the unit.
6.
Close the internal electrical and main panels doors.
7.
If these operations have been carried out properly, the microprocessor display will
be ON.
MICROPROCESSOR DISPLAY
8.
Press the Alarm key to disable the sound signal.
NOTE: The first start for the external unit should be performed after the first start of the
internal units, this is to allow the external unit to recognize the internal configuration (or any
change performed on it) and react accordingly. If the internal configuration is new, the
external unit will show an alarm, that will go away after the external unit has been turned off
and on again without changing the indoor configuration.
INFORMATION
During this phase, the microprocessor indicates the presence of
alarms (thermal, fans, humidifier (if applicable), no flow, etc.),
because some circuit breakers are in the OFF position, and some
components are not active.
