15.1.2 Configurable inputs/outputs

In the connection field discrete 24V inputs/outputs are overall 24 discrete 24V
input/output signals available , grouped in 3 IO-groups per 8 inputs/outputs:
U : EA00 ... EA07 U

Each single discrete 24V input/output is either as input (default) or as output
configurable:
• inputs according to IEC61131-2 (charakteristic type 3)
• outputs max. 625mA, short circuit proof (sum of the load currents of all outputs
of one IO-group max. 1,5A)

The 24 input/output signals are in
• 2-fold,
• 4-fold
• 6-fold
signal groups summarized
and are led on the 8 plug connectors XGD1...XGD8,
which can be used to connect flexible specific sensor/actor units
with different amount of input/output signals with one cable.
The following signal groups are available:
• 5 x 2-fold input/output XGD1, XGD2, XGD3, XGD4, XGD5
• 2 x 4-fold input/output XGD6, XGD7
• 1 x 6-fold input/output XGD8
