Position the diagnostic plate with the
gasket and the diagnostic disk between
the socket and the vacuum pump. Make
sure to also position a gasket between
the vacuum pump and the diagnostic
plate (Fig. 16).
The M6 x 60 mm screw included
with the diagnostic kit must be
used for the screwed connection.

Connect the gauge of the diagnostic kit
to the corner valve of the diagnostic plate
using the included tube (Fig. 17).

Ask the user to don the prosthesis, and
to load and unload the prosthesis several
times. The gauge will show the vacuum.
• If the established vacuum level is
adequate and does not decrease, the
suspected leak must be in the sleeve
and/or the socket (since the connec-
tion between the vacuum pump and
the socket has been closed with the
diagnostic disk).
• If no adequate vacuum can be esta-
blished, the pump must be defect. In
this case, send the LimbLogic M back
to us for maintenance.
