Position the diagnostic plate between
socket and vacuum pump. Make sure
to place a gasket between both the
vacuum pump and the diagnostic
plate, and the diagnostic plate and
the socket (Fig. 13).

The M6 x 60 mm screw included
with the diagnostic kit must be
used for the screwed connection.
Connect the gauge of the diagnostic
kit to the corner valve of the diagnostic
plate using the included tube (Fig. 14).

Ask the user to don the prosthesis, and
to load and unload the prosthesis several
times. The gauge will show the vacuum.
• If the desired vacuum gets estab-
lished, the diagnostic plate can be
removed, and the prostheses be
re-assembled again.
The M6 x 60 mm screws have to
be replaced with the M6 x 50 mm
screws.

Checking the System for Leaks

The diagnostic kit can also be used if a
leak is supected.
Put a gasket on the diagnostic disk.
Position the diagnostic disk on the
gasket (Fig. 15). This will close the
connection to the socket.
