If the LimbLogic cannot be attached
directly to the socket, you can alterna-
tively use the LimbLogic vacuum pump
(REF WW-LLV-01044). To do so, attach
the vacuum pyramid to the proximal side
of the LimbLogic M (Fig. 4), and install the
LimbLogic vacuum plate (WW-LLV-01043)
on the distal end of the socket. Next,
connect the components with the tube
that is enclosed with the vacuum pyramid.

Torque for the M6x50 mm screws:
12 Nm. Secure the screwed connec-
tion with medium strength thread-
locking fluid (e.g. LocTite 242)
during the final assembly.
Connect the distal pyramid of the
LimbLogic M with the desired adapter
and assembly the prostheses according
to the rules of the trade.

Adjustung Rotation

If required, the distal pyramid of the
LimbLogic M can be turned into the
desired position during the assembly
of the prosthesis. Use a suitable
spanner wrench (Fig. 5).

Once the prosthesis has been
assembled, the pyramid can be
turned once the two adjacent
8-mm hex screws of the pyramid
receiver have been opened.
During the assembly of the
prosthesis, the instructions
concerning torque and/or the
threadlocking fluid of all adapters
used have to be followed.
Adjusting Pump Capacity
Set a marker before loosening the
connection on the distal pyramid,
because the LimbLogic' s pyramid
may twist out of position when the
screwed connection is opened.
The pumps capacity is defined by the de-
flection of the spring-mounted pyramid.
The pre-tension of the spring on the
inside of the pyramid has to be adjusted
to the user's body weight.
As a general rule:
The setting should allow for maximum
spring deflection without allowing the
proximal surface of the pyramid to hit
the pump body.
