TROUBLE SHOOTING
8.1.
General
8.1.1.
Think before you act!
If you notice an indication of a defect, remember what you did the last time the same indication
cropped up. If what you did last time was successful, proceed in the same manner. If you are expe-
riencing the symptom for the first time, ponder the possible cause; follow the procedure described
below for trouble shooting.
8.1.2.
Dust and dirt
Wear is usually caused by abrasive dirt particles. If you remove or dismantle a part or a component,
make sure that no dust or dirt can get in.
8.1.3.
Use original, genuine parts.
Use only genuine parts to replace defective or worn components. To order the required spare parts
please contact your authorised dealer.
8.1.4.
Exercise caution
Use appropriate tools for each step during the repair. By choosing the correct tool you will avoid per-
sonal injury and property damage. To raise or lift a part that is too heavy for one person, ask another
person to help or use suitable lifting equipment.
