Before connecting the electrical consumers, verify that the total load of the consumers does not exceed the
capacity of the power generator stated on the rating plate.
The consumers can also be connected while the power generator is running.
In this case, make sure that the consumer is turned off when connecting to the socket-outlet.
Connect the consumers to the corresponding sockets of the generator.
Note the connection values according to the technical data.

Grounding the generator

GEKO/EISEMANN generators are manufactured in accordance with the standard DIN VDE 0100/Part
551 and DIN VDE 0100/Part 410 with the protective measure of electrical separation of the IT network,
i.e. the neutral point of the generator is not connected to the generator housing. Grounding by means
of the grounding screw (pos. 16-8) on the generator and a grounding spike can therefore only be used
for dissipation of static electricity charges. The equipotential bonding conductor (green/yellow) must
however lead to and be connected to all consumers without a break.
However, if the generator is equipped with a protective circuit fault current protective circuit (available
as an option), the neutral point of the generator must be connected to the generator unit housing and
be connected by means of a grounding screw and possibly a grounding spike with suitable equipo-
tential bonding. It is important to ensure that, after grounding and before operating the generator, the
protective measure is checked by an electrician in accordance with DGUV regulation 3 (measurement
and test report) and the protective measure is tested as functional. Also, here a gap-free connection
of all equipotential bonding conductors and connection of the consumer must be ensured. Now the
generator is designed as a TN-C-S system.
The electrician is responsible for implementation of protective measures. Any protective measures
should be checked by an electrician for efficiency before commissioning of the generator.
