• Operate the power generator outdoors on a flat, stable surface.
• Protect the power generator from environmental influences such as dust and moisture.
• Keep a minimum lateral clearance of 1m to building walls, container walls etc.
This is required:
to open the engine hood (A)
to operate the engine (A)
to ensure adequate combustion and cooling air supply for the power generator. (A+B)
to operate the switch box (B)
to allow the dissipation of the heat that arises during the operation of the power generator
(C)

Conditions for the trouble-free operation

5.3.1.

Fuel specification

The fuel must meet the following requirements:
• Clean, fresh, unleaded petrol.
• Octane rating of minimum RON 91 (87 Octane/87 AKI)
• Maximum 10% ethanol (E10)
Use unleaded gasoline with maximum of 10 percent volume ethanol (E 10) or maximum 5 volume
percent methanol. Methanol must also contain cosolvents and corrosion inhibitors. Using fuels with
a higher ethanol or methanol content than indicated above can cause starting and/or performance
problems. It can also cause damage to metal, rubber and plastic parts of the fuel system. Using a fuel
with higher ethanol or methanol proportion than indicated above or of poor quality voids the manu-
facturer's warranty.
