• Two-way (globe) and diverting valves: assemble bonnet (201) with plug assembly (300) on valve body (101)
mixing valves: assemble B-flange (601) on body (101) and tighten bolts gradually, diametrically in steps.
(for torque's, see table in appendix)
• Mount the actuator onto valve and check limit switches according to operating instructions of actuator.
6.2

Replacing the Plug Assembly

When replacing the plug group, it is recommended to also replace the stem seal. To replace the plug assembly, the flat gasket
(503) between the body and the cover is required.
Valves with bellows seal
See operating instructions for replacing of bellows seal (section 6.1)
Valves with stuffing box
• Depressurize valves and drain pipelines in accordance to regulations
• To replace the plug assembly, the actuator must be removed (please refer to the operating instructions of the
respective actuator).
• two-way (globe) and diverting valves: remove bonnet (201) from body (101)
mixing valves: remove B-flange (601) from body (101)
• Remove plug assembly (300) from bonnet (201) and replace it.
• Clean the sealing gasket surfaces on the body.
• Two-way (globe) and diverting valves: assemble bonnet (201) with plug assembly (300) on valve body (101)
mixing valves: assemble B-flange (601) on body (101) and tighten bolts gradually, diametrically in steps.

• Mount the actuator onto valve and check limit switches according to operating instructions of actuator.
