Programming and Memorizing Chases

The scenes previously memorized can be
compiled to a chase (scene sequence) in any
desired order and memorized. 6 memory banks
are available. A sequence of up to 240 steps can
be programmed on each memory bank. Chases
may run manually, sound-controlled or time-
controlled.

Call the programming mode. For this, keep
the PROGRAM pressed until the LED next to
the button flashes.

Select the desired memory bank with one of
the buttons CHASE 1-6.

Call the first scene with the buttons SCENE
1-12 (if necessary, select a memory bank
with the buttons BANK UP and BANK
DOWN in advance).

Press the button MIDI/REC to memorize the
scene. To confirm the memory procedure, all
LEDs of the controller flash three times.

Repeat the steps 3 and 5 to memorize
further scenes. Up to 240 scenes can be
compiled to a chase.

After the desired chase has been
memorized, switch off the programming
mode. For this, keep the button PROGRAM
pressed until the LED next to the button
extinguishes.

Inserting a Scene into a Chase

It is possible to insert scenes after the current
editing position.

Call the programming mode. For this, keep
the PROGRAM pressed until the LED next to
the button flashes.

Select the chase to be extended with one of
the buttons CHASE 1-6.

Press the button TAP/DISPLAY. The display
indicates the current editing position, i.e. the
step "STEP 004".

Use the buttons BANK UP and BANK
DOWN to select the step after which a new
step is to be inserted.

Press the button MIDI/REC.

Press the button TAP/DISPLAY.

Now, a scene can be inserted after the
current editing position. For this, first call the
memory bank of the scene with the buttons
BANK UP and BANK DOWN; then select
the scene to be inserted with the
corresponding SCENE button.

Press the button MIDI/REC to memorize the
revised chase. To confirm the memory
procedure, all LEDs of the controller flash
three times.

After the chase has been memorized, switch
off the programming mode. For this, keep the
button PROGRAM pressed until the LED
next to the button extinguishes.

Inserting a Memory Bank into a Chase

It is possible to insert a complete memory bank
(consisting of 8 scenes) into a chase after the
current editing position.

Call the programming mode. For this, keep
the PROGRAM pressed until the LED next to
the button flashes.

Select the chase to be edited with one of the
buttons CHASE 1-6.

Use the buttons BANK UP and BANK
DOWN to select the memory bank (1-30) to
be inserted.

Press the button MUSIC BANK COPY.

Press the button MIDI/REC to memorize the
revised chase. To confirm the memory
procedure, all LEDs of the controller flash
three times.

After the chase has been memorized, switch
off the programming mode. For this, keep the
button PROGRAM pressed until the LED
next to the button extinguishes.

Deleting a Scene from a Chase

It is possible to delete a scene from a chase at the
current editing position.

Call the programming mode. For this, keep
the PROGRAM pressed until the LED next to
the button flashes.

Select the chase to be edited with one of the
buttons CHASE 1-6.

Press the button TAP/DISPLAY. The display
indicates the current editing position, i.e. the
step "STEP 004".

Use the buttons BANK UP and BANK
DOWN to select the step to be deleted.

Press the button AUTO/DEL to delete. To
confirm the deleting procedure, all LEDs of
the controller flash three times.
6
After the desired scene has been deleted,
switch off the programming mode. For this,
keep the button PROGRAM pressed until the
LED next to the button extinguishes.
