Functional test when lighting the fire for the first time
Read this section to learn how to check the function of the start-up of your gas fireplace.
1. Light the fireplace.
2. The pilot flame ignites.
3. Check the pilot flame remains lit.
4. Light the main burner.
5. Check that the cross-ignition from the pilot flame to the main burner occurs easily and that the main
burner and pilot flame remain lit.
6. Check that the secondary burners remain lit.
7. Switch off the fireplace completely. The fireplace may only be lit again after the thermocouple has
cooled down. This will take about 3–4 minutes.
