Averaging or peak value detection can be selected. Only one may be activated at a time.
11.2.1 Averaging (moving average)
Averaging is used to stabilize the temperature value under extreme ambient conditions. When the IR temperature
sensor is used in an EMC intensive area, averaging can suppress strong fluctuations. In each measuring cycle the
sensor uses the configured number of the last measuring results to obtain a calculable measuring result by forming
the moving average.
