The true object temperature that is lying within the detection range is written to the parameter True Temperature.
Sending the system command Teach Emissivity calculates the emissivity based on the previously entered true tem-
perature value and the measured temperature value with 100% emissivity.

The true temperature value must be entered in the units which have been set. If the temperature units are set
to %, then the true temperature value must be entered in °C.
Note
The system command Teach Emissivity functions once after entering the true temperature value.
Note
If the calculated emissivity lies outside the valid range, the system command Teach Emissivity is acknowledged
with the error message function temporarily unavailable. The previous emissivity remains in effect.
Note
The LED indicates whether the detected temperature lies above the set upper switching threshold.
Note
In IO-Link mode OUT2 is turned off (high-impedence).
