Safety belt
Secure your child with the five­point harness system 14.
Make sure the shoulder straps D are plugged in and that the belt is
securely fastened. The length of the belt can be adjusted with sliding
buckle F, the length of the crotch strap G can be adjusted with quick­
release slider H.
To undo the harness: press the two tongues B together using your
thumb and forefinger, then press the red button A, so that you can pull
the two plugs E out upwards. To undo the shoulder straps you then
press button C.
Adjusting the footrest
By pressing the two red safety buttons 15 at the same time, the footrest
can be lowered. When lifting it, adjustment of positions is effected
automatically. The footrest can be lengthened. To do this, pull the two
red pins 16 and turn the footrest by 180°.
Automatic locking of the upper section
Place the seat frame on the chassis so that the two upper fastening com­
ponents rest on the locking bolts provided for this purpose. Both sides of
the lock mechanism 17 will automatically close when you press the seat
frame down.
WARNING!
Ensure that the seat frame is securely in place
before use!
To release the lock mechanism, press the safety button to the right of the
release button on the back of the inclining seat frame and then press the
release button until the release is activated.
Grasp the hoop guard with your other hand to remove the seat frame.
Adjust the back rest to incline the seat frame
Tilt the adjustment lever 13 at the rear to bring the seat frame from the
sitting to the lying position in two stages.
Sun and weather protection 16 on the canopy
Open the two brackets on the rear canopy hoop to extend the canopy
hoop forwards over the canopy

For the safety of your child

– Before picking up or carrying, make certain the handles are in the correct
positions for use.
WarnIng!
– The child's head must never be lower than its body in the folding-hood carrycot.
WarnIng!
– Never leave your child unattended in the carry cot.
WarnIng!
– This carry cot is suitable for holding only one baby, that cannot yet sit up on its
own, or roll on its side or support itself on hands and knees.
Maximum baby weight: 9 kg.

– Never place this carry cot on a stand. Always place the carry cot on a solid,
horizontal base.
WarnIng!
– Never allow other children to play unsupervised near the cot.
WarnIng!
– Do not use the carry cot if any part is torn or broken. Check the handles and
the base regularly for signs of wear or damage.

– Do not let your child play with the folding carrycot.
WarnIng!
– The folding carrycot is not suitable for transporting a child in the car.
WarnIng!
– Do not use mattresses with a thickness in excess of 2cm. No extra mattress may
be placed on top of the mattress supplied or recommended by the manufacturer.

– When folding and unfolding the stroller, make sure that your child is clear of
any moving parts.
WarnIng!
– Be aware of the risks posed by open fires or other sources of heat, such as
electric heaters, gas flames etc., if these are in the immediate vicinity of the
carry cot.
WarnIng!
– Accessories and spare or replacement parts not approved by the manufacturer
must not be used.
Fixing the carrycot to the frame
1. Remove the seat unit from the chassis.
2. Place the folding seating unit on the chassis, such that the
two locking mechanisms fit on the on the two locking bolts.
3. With gentle pressure, the locking pins on both sides will
engage with an audible ‚click'.
WARNING!
4. Check by trying to lift the carrycot that both
locks have engaged properly.
5. To remove the folding seating unit, grasp the canopy hoop
handle with one hand and, with the other, release the
adjustment lever at the bottom of folding seating unit, and
lift the unit away from the two locking mechanisms.
6. To carry the carrycot and put it down safely, the levers must
be folded down onto the base.
