Filter removal / cleaning
When removed immediately after boiling, the filter elements can be warmed up.
Remove with gloves or oven mitts if necessary.
Lift the filter cassette (9) vertically by reaching into the filter cover and pull out the filters by
ejecting according to the illustration ( magnetic tapes fix the filter cassette and the filters in-
side ! ).
Wipe out the filter trough with a damp cloth.
Never place parts on active hobs !

Cleaning the metal grease filter

Rinse the filter cassette regularly (every 14 days) or if necessary under hot water .
Metal grease filters (10) can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
After approx. 40 operating hours, the grease-filter-saturation-display flashes .
( see Chapter 4.30 Page 63 )
The manufacturer does not accept any liability for possible discolouration caused by the
use of aggressive detergents.
Caution: Do not use multi-phase cleaners. Do not clean the filter in a commercial
dishwasher. Cleaning with aggressive cleaning agents such as petrol, acetone, trichloro-
ethylene, etc. can cause damage !
