Step 1: Enter the Setting Mode
Open the battery cover and press SET. The display turns on.
Step 2: Configuring the Settings (Date, Time Format, Time, Universal Tone, Memory Deletion, and Reminder Alarm)
Press the Main button repeatedly to adjust the value or enable/disable the setting. Then press SET to confirm the setting and
switch to another field.

Note:
• You may set up Beep On, Universal Tone On and Beep Off by press Main Button to
change it. (u)
• When Universal Tone is turned on, the meter guides you through the blood glucose
test using beep tones; it also outputs the result as a series of beeps.
• When Beep is turned off, the alarm function will remain effective.
• During memory deletion, select no to keep all saved results.
• You may set up up to four reminder alarms.
• To turn off an alarm, find the alarm number by pressing SET, then press the Main
button to toggle On to OFF.
• When the alarm goes off, the device will automatically turn on. Press the Main button
to mute the alarm. If you do not press the Main button, the device will beep for 2
minutes then switch off.
• If the device is idle for 3 minutes during the setting mode, it will turn off
automatically.
