Danger from magnetism
• Persons with pacemakers should consult a specialist befo-
re using induction hobs to clarify whether the pacemaker is
approved for induction.
Installation and power supply
• The edges of the hob are sharp. Protect yourself appropria-
tely during installation if necessary to avoid injury.
• As heat and moisture are generated in the surrounding
area when using the appliance, ensure that the room is well
ventilated. To do this, use the options provided or, if neces-
sary, install an exhaust system (e.g. an extractor hood).
• Do not install the appliance in an ambience with high tem-
peratures, near a gas or kerosene stove.
• The appliance may only be installed, grounded and com-
missioned by a qualified electrician.
The manufacturer is not liable for damage or problems
caused by incorrect installation or repair.
• Before installation, the appliance must be disconnected
from the power supply.
• The appliance must be properly connected to an intact
earthing system that complies with national and local
regulations.
• A circuit breaker should be installed in the circuit to which
the appliance is connected to ensure complete isolation
from the power supply.
• Do not install door panels or decor panels on the front of
the appliance. Danger of overheating!

Before use
• Do not use the appliance until it is correctly installed and
connected to the power supply.
• Do not use the appliance if the power cable, the power plug
or their connection is damaged.
Danger of electric shock and short circuit!
The cable must only be replaced by a qualified electrician..
• To prevent damage to the power cord, do not bring it into
contact with high temperatures, do not bend, twist or kink
it, or expose it to tensile stress.
Do not pull on the cable, but grasp the power plug directly
to remove it from the socket.
• Make sure that all packaging material, including protective
film (except the nameplate), has been removed from the
appliance (including the oven compartment) and accesso-
ries.
• Keep packaging materials (e.g. foil, polystyrene) out of the
reach of children. Risk of suffocation!
Use
• The hinges on the appliance door move when the door is
opened and closed and may jam something. Keep your
hands away from the hinges and always grip the door cen-
trally by the handle to avoid injury.
• The appliance and its accessible parts become hot during
operation and can retain heat for a long time. During and
after operation, take care not to touch the surfaces of the
appliance, especially the heating elements. Keep children
away.
• Do not pour any water into the cooking chamber when hot.
Risk of scalding and damage to the enamel!
• Pay attention to magnetizable metal objects worn on the
body, as they can become hot near the hob during use.
Gold and silver jewellery are not affected.
• Do not place metal objects such as cutlery or lids on the
hob, as these can be heated by induction.
• Do not place any objects in the cooking chamber or on the
cooking surface that are not heat-resistant (e.g. plastic
containers ...). These can catch fire, melt or be damaged if
the appliance is accidentally switched on.
• Cooking utensils, handles of cookware, etc. can become
very hot during use. Use oven mitts or oven gloves if neces-
sary, do not leave anything on or in the appliance and when
cooking, make sure that nothing protrudes over other
cooking zones that are switched on.
