Safety instructions - Hob
• If the connection cable is defective, stop using the appli-
ance immediately. The cable must only be replaced by a
certified electrician. Contact the seller.
• If the hob is broken, stop using it immediately, disconnect
it completely from the power supply and contact an autho-
rised retailer.
If you continue to use the appliance in this condition, there
is a risk of life-threatening electric shock!
• This appliance can only be used by children aged from 8
years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge
if they have been given supervision or instruction concer-
ning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved.
Children must not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by child-
ren without supervision.
• When using the hob, it becomes hot. Make sure that you do
not touch hot surfaces.
• Make sure that children do not come near the hob during
use.
• To avoid danger, never leave the hob on when not cooking.
• Do not heat any airtight containers, such as ready-made
canned dishes, on the cooking surface.
This can lead to an explosion.

• The appliance must be installed and put into operation
by an authorised technician. The manufacturer is not
responsible for any damage that could be caused by incor-
rect installation and by the installation of non-authorized
personnel.
• This hob is designed for private use and is intended for hea-
ting food. Only use it for the intended purpose! The seller is
not responsible for improper handling or damage or prob-
lems resulting from non-observance of the instructions.
• The use of this hob generates heat and moisture in the
surroundings. Please make sure that your kitchen is well
ventilated. Use the options provided or install an extrac-
tion system (e.g. an extractor hood) if necessary.
• Never use the hob in an environment with high temperatu-
res, near a gas stove or a kerosene stove.
• In order not to damage the glass-ceramic surface, only use
cookware with a flat base that has no sharp edges or burrs,
do not work with sharp or pointed objects on the hob
surface and ensure that the hob is not scratched by other
objects such as jewellery.
• Only use cookware with a temperature resistance of up to
200°C, intended and suitable for glass ceramic fields.
• Plastic household objects (spoons, bowls, etc.) must not be
placed on the hob during use, as they could melt firmly.
• If sugar or food containing sugar gets on the hob, it must
be removed immediately - if possible while still hot - so that
no chemical reactions are triggered that could damage the
surface of the hob.
• Observe the instructions for care and cleaning of the glass
ceramic. We accept no liability for improper handling.
• Please do not use any aggressive cleaning and scouring
agents to clean the hob. This can damage the glass ceramic
surface and the operating buttons.
