■ To select stations by program type
(genre)
You can tune FM Radio Data System stations by selecting
a program type (genre). Once you select a program type,
the DVD receiver automatically searches for FM Radio
Data System stations currently broadcasting the
corresponding programs.

Press FREQ/TEXT (PROG) repeatedly to
select PTY.
Each time you press FREQ/TEXT, the display
changes as follows:
PS
PTY
RT
CT
Radio Data System mode off

Press PTY SEEK MODE.
The program type you selected last time appears in
the DVD receiver display.

Press PRESET u / d to select the program
type you want to listen to.

Press PTY SEEK START.
The DVD receiver starts searching for preset Radio
Data System stations.
■ To cancel PTY SEEK MODE
Press PTY SEEK START.
