Manoeuvring the caravan

Prior to manoeuvring, release the parking brake or
remove the anti-roll stopper.
The "Switch off" button (Figure 2 - 4) for the remote
control is also used as an "Emergency off switch".
In the case of noticeable problems, e.g. uncontrollable
behaviour of the Mover, the "Switch off" button must be
pressed immediately.
– Move the caravan in the desired direction using the
direction arrows (Figure 2 - 3/5/6/7/9).
If the opposite direction arrows (Figure 2 - 5/9 or 3/7) are
simultaneously pressed, the caravan rotates around its
own axle in the respective direction.
– As the caravan moves (forwards/backwards), the direction
of travel can be changed with the direction arrows
(Figure 2 - 3/9 and 5/7).
When releasing the buttons or if the radio signal is faulty or
too weak, the caravan stops. Radio devices or other Mover
remote controls do not start up your Mover.
After starting up, the Mover moves at an even speed. The
speed is slightly increased on sloping terrain or decreased on
rising terrain.
Depending on the system, the speed inclines on inclines.
The speed can be reduced if the caravan is frequently
stopped and started again.
– After manoeuvring, first apply the parking brake
or secure the caravan from rolling away and then
decommission the Mover.

Coupling the towing vehicle

With the drive rollers in contact, the caravan
must not be pulled.
Thanks to the Mover, coupling to the towing vehicle is
possible with millimetre precision. This requires a level of care
and some practice.
In accordance with the operating instructions, move the
caravan close to the towing vehicle (apply the handbrake
and engage gear). For precise positioning, use the direction
buttons on the remote control until the caravan coupling is
positioned exactly above the ball head of the towing vehicle
trailer coupling. Then couple the caravan to the towing vehicle
as usual by lowering onto the jockey wheel.
Prepare the caravan as usual for towing.

Decommissioning the Mover

Disengaging Mover smart A

– Press the button (Figure 7 - 2) on the remote control for
5 seconds and then release. The drive roller is disengaging.
The indicator (Figure 7 - 1) flashes during the process.
Only after the indicator on the remote control stops
flashing, the process is complete and the remote control
can send new commands.
While the indicator is flashing, the remote control must
not be switched off. Otherwise, after turning the unit on
again, it must be repeated until the Mover has been
completely disengaged (the indicator on the remote control
stops flashing and the Mover is disengaged).

– Isolate the Mover power supply via the battery cut-off switch.
Figure 8
– Remove the blank cover on the back of the Mover.
The Mover may be manually disengaged. Other tools,
such as cordless screwdriver, may damage the Mover.
– Place the 8 mm socket wrench (Figure 8 - 1) into the
opening and turn in an anti-clockwise motion (Figure 8 - 2)
until the Mover is fully disengaged up to the stop.
– The process must be performed on both tyres.
