Mover smart A - with automatic engagement
Mover smart M - for manual engagement

Intended use

The Mover smart M was designed for use on single-axle
caravans with an overall weight of up to 1800 kg and the
Mover smart A for single-axle caravans with an overall
weight of up to 2000 kg.
The Mover is a manoeuvring system, with which a caravan
can be moved without the aid of the towing vehicle.
The manoeuvring system must only be used on campsites
and private premises.
It is strictly forbidden to use the manoeuvring system on
public roads!

Safety instructions

- Before starting up the system, you must observe
the "safety instructions" and operating instructions.
The vehicle keeper is responsible for correct operation of
the appliance.
- Prior to using the Mover for the first time, practice on
open ground in order to familiarise yourself with the
functions of the remote control or the Mover.
- This appliance may be used by children 8 years and over,
and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or with insufficient experience and knowledge,
if they have been supervised or instructed on the safe use of
the appliance and understand the associated risks. Children
must not play with the appliance.
- Prior to using the Mover each time, check the tyres and
drive rollers; if necessary remove any sharp stones and
similar objects.
- The "Switch off" button for the remote control is also used
as an "Emergency off switch". In the case of noticeable
problems, e.g. uncontrollable behaviour of the Mover, the
"Switch off" button must be pressed immediately. Then
interrupt the power supply of the Mover using the battery
cut-off switch.
- During operation, no persons may be present in the
caravan.
- In the swivel and driving range (manoeuvring range) of the
caravan, no persons must stand (in particular children).
- Ensure there is sufficient room for viewing conditions and
general space.
- When engaging/disengaging and while the Mover is in
operation, care must be taken to ensure that no hair, limbs,
clothing or other body parts are caught by moving and/or
rotating parts (e.g. drive rollers).
- During manoeuvring, the distance between the radio
remote control and the middle of the caravan must not
exceed 10 m!
- Apply the handbrake in the case of malfunctions.
- In order to prevent toppling of the caravan, when
manoeuvring on inclines point the shaft downwards
(downhill).
- Following manoeuvring always first of all apply the
parking brake, block the wheels (especially on steep
surfaces) and only then disengage the drive rollers
from the wheels. The Mover is not suitable as a
parking brake for the parked caravan.
- It is essential that the radio remote control is secured
against unauthorised access (in particular so children
cannot access it).
- Do not place the remote control which is ready for
operation in pockets or similar, as otherwise functions may
be accidentally triggered.
- Never pull the caravan with the drive rollers in contact, as
this may lead to damage to the wheels, towing vehicle and
drive units, as well as attachment parts.
- All wheels and tyres must be the same size.
- To ensure proper functioning of the Mover, the distance
between the tyres and the disengaged drive rollers must
be 20 mm. All tyres must have the same tyre pressure
according to manufacturer specifications (regular
inspection). Tyre wear or installation of new tyres may
necessitate re-adjustment of the drive rollers / tyre spacing
(see "Installing the drive elements").
