Turn away cover and remove battery. Ensure
proper disposal of the battery.
If the battery contacts are contaminated or
oxidized, clean with a dry paper towel.
Insert new battery. Observe + and – symbols in
the battery compartment. The medical device is
activated automatically.
When replacing the battery, the medical device must
be checked for visible damage. If visible damage is
seen, call DrägerService.
Reassemble the medical device in reverse order.
Afterwards a function check must be performed.
