It is the responsibility of the installer/owner to ascer-
tain compliance with specific local regulations prior to
installation.
Jacuzzi Europe S.p.A. gives no guarantee in this
respect and refuses all responsibility regarding compli-
ance of the installation carried out.

Technical Features

The Oxia model MaxiJacuzzi
about 900 litres. The power supply is single-phase (220/-240
V) and all the electromechanical parts and hosing are con-
tained within its perimeter.
It is provided with one 2-speed 2Hp pump.
There are 17 hydromassage jets.
The skimmer contains 1 filtering cartridge to ensure water fil-
tering. The filtering surface is 2.3 m

Safety of use

The system, if installed by qualified personnel in compliance with
the provisions stated in part two of the enclosed manual, presents
no risks for the user. Safety, however, is also related to correct use,
according to the provisions in part one, while the user must assign
the operations described in part two to qualified personnel.

It is important to check that personnel in charge of installa-
tion and running the system are qualified in compliance with the
law provisions in force in the Country where installation is car-
ried out.

As far as the suitability of the electric system and connections are
concerned, it is necessary to refer to part two of the Installation and
Use & Maintenance manual (see "ELECTRICAL SAFETY" chapter).
Periodically, however, the differential switch (see "ELECTRICAL
SAFETY" chapter) of the system to which the mini-pool is con-
nected must be checked for efficiency. By pressing the test
button (TEST) the switch must disconnect: if this does not
happen, immediately cut-off the electric current and con-
tact a qualified service engineer.

contact an Authorized Service Centre and use only original spare parts.

Preparations for installation

Oxia is provided with a drain, prepared as in

3, (detail B).
The Customer must make provisions for a ground drainage point
of suitable dimensions, which can be inspected for any cleaning.
CAUTION! Before preparing the ground drainage
point, consult the local authority for the regulations
that control the drainage of chemically treated water.

For periodic emptying of the MaxiJacuzzi
nected to the drain, then remove the closure cover at the base and
screw on the provided hose coupler provided (
N.B. To open the valve, you must turn the ring nut anticlockwise
and pull it, therefore if you decide to connect the MaxiJacuzzi
permanently to the ground drainage point, we recommend you
install a valve below, leaving the ring nut permanently open.

The ground drainage point must then be put into position
according to the type of installation chosen.
Oxia can be installed in different ways:
- Free standing on the floor or on a specifically prepared base (

- Semi-built in, so that only the base of the MaxiJacuzzi
in, therefore the side cover panels remain free (
case, it is necessary to prepare some removable under-frames (in
marine plywood, etc.) that, besides aesthetically completing

Measurements for insertion into the floor can be taken from the
base measurements of the MaxiJacuzzi
- Built in, with the tub rim at floor level (
a base support must be made under the bottom of the tub (in
concrete and steel beams, (detail 1). Access to the hosing must
be ensured, and to all other electromechanical parts that are
under the tub. For example, by making a passage along the outer
perimeter, which is wide enough (about 80 cm) to carry out all
electrical and hydraulic connections and any maintenance oper-
ations (detail 2). This passage can be closed using removable
under-frames (detail 3), with suitable supports (detail 4).
Drainage for any water stagnation must also be provided (detail 5).

In any case, a base support must be made that is suitable to hold
the weight of the Oxia model MaxiJacuzzi
