15 Design and Function

This chapter provides you with important safety notices on the design and function of the
device.
15.1

Complete overview

A Seal only To seal the bag without
vacuum.
B Indicator lamp (for seal)
indicates the seal process.
C Cancel (Stop) to switch off the
vacuuming and sealing action whenever
the operator wants to stop the operation.
D Indicator lamp (for vacuum) indicates the vacuum process.
E Vacuum/Seal To draw air out of the bag and automatically change operation to seal
the bag after vacuum is completed.
F Cover-lock To lock the cover. Lift the front of the device slightly. Press firmly on the
right and left sides of the lid until the lid hearable latches.
G Cover unlock buttons Press to unlock the cover.
If you open the cover, you see the
Sealing strip:
seal but not to stick to the strip.
Warning
Please observe the following safety notices in order not to burn or scald yourself or others.
► To avoid getting burned, never touch the sealing bar while the unit is operating.
► Do not remove the Teflon tape (T).
