Switching on/off

Inserting a disc

! Connect the DVD recorder to the power supply as
stated above.
! Set the POWER slide switch on the device to the
ONposition. The operating LED now lights up red.
! Switch on the monitor(s) using the POWER button.
! To switch the device off, push the POWER slide
switch to the OFF position. Switch off the
monitor(s).
! Open the disc compartment by pressing the OPEN
key on the front side of the device to the right.
! Insert a disc into the disc compartment with the title
side upwards. Ensure that the disc is in the centre of
the disc holder.
! Carefully push the disc towards the disc holder,
applying a little pressure. The disc should click into
place.
! Close the disc compartment. If the device is switched
on the DVD/CD will now be read and will start
automatically.
For DVDs a DVD menu usually appears and you can
make your selection with the navigation keys, and then
confirm by pressing ENTER.
