The system is only able to show the first 8 letters of the ID3 tags.
If the recorded information is longer than 8 letters, the text
scrolls once to the left and then the first 8 letters are shown. If
the MP3 disk does not contain specific information, you will see
the messages NO FOLD, NO TRK, NO TLT, NO ALBM, NO ART.
23. Playback order of MP3 files:
1) Directories that do not contain any MP3 files are skipped.
2) It is advisable to create not more than 2 levels for each CD.
3) Maximum number of folders: 256
4) Maximum number of levels in the folders: 8
5) Maximum number of characters for the name of the MP3 fi-
les and of the folders: 32
6) Sampling frequency: 16 kHz, 22.05 kHz, 24 kHz, 32 kHz,
44.1 kHz, 48 kHz
7) Bit rate: 8-320 Kbps
8) Format of MP3 decoding: MPEG 1 & 2, Audio Layer 3
9) The names of the folders and of the files are displayed only
up to the first 8 characters ( see the Display item).
10) This unit can display the characters from A to Z and from 0
to 9. Other characters may not be displayed correctly.
11) The ID3 tags are supported (see the item Display).
24. Reading the files of a CD: when a CD with an MP3 file
is inserted, the unit checks all the data on the disk. If the disk
contains numerous folders with several levels, it will take so-
mewhat longer for playback to begin. Also, it will take longer to
go from one MP3 file to another, and the fast forward function
may work more slowly. During reproduction, the unit accesses
the files and the folders in the order in which they are written
on the CD. The playback sequence may therefore be slightly
different than expected. For example, a CD with the following fol-
der/file hierarchy will be played in the order shown:
