4.14 THE END OF OPERATION
At the end of the work processes, stop all the mechanical moving
parts in safe conditions. Let the machine sit on the ground, stop
the engine, remove the ignition key and engage the parking brake.
Up the transmission wheel in transport position (Fig. 50).
Check that is perfectly set on the safety pin.(4, Fig. 50).
DISCHARGE THE HOPPER
Proceed as follows to discharge the seeds from the hopper:
- Extract the lock pin (Q, Fig. 51) and, using the handle, move the
bush housing in the direction of the arrow.
- Release the seed-test trays (Fig. 52) and position them beneath
the seed discharge mouths.
- for large quantities, it is advisable to use the crank on the gear
shift to rotate the agitator shaft to better control seed flow into
the bins. To empty small amounts of seed, shift the doser lever
beyond position 9 (Fig. 43).
- After seed discharge has been completed, return the trays,
rack, and dosage adjustment lever to their initial work positions.
PREPARING THE MACHINE FOR ROAD TRANSPORT
At the end of the work processes, prepare the machine for transport
on public roads.
Store all the mobile parts (row marker arm, rear row markers,
etc.) within the machine width and secure them using the safety
devices supplied.
IMPORTANT!
Adhere to the regulations in force on road transport in the
user's country.
