Kit programming
Initialisation
Connect all the devices and power up the system, wait
until the LEDs of the ETI/XIP APP interface come on
(about 2 min) and the flashing corresponds to 'Normal op-
eration' (see table above).

Configuration to receive calls on mobile devices
The ETI/XIP APP interface features two Ethernet ports in
Switch configuration, so a PC can be connected directly to
it without using a Cross cable.

Once the cable is connected and the PC configured, to link
up to the interface, type the IP address http://192.168.1.2
into your browser.
After a few minutes, the configuration web page will ap-
pear. In order to access it, you will need the user's creden-
tials

NOTE. The ETI/XIP APP device does not support IP ad-
dress assignment via DHCP, so if there is a DHCP server
service in the home automation network, you will
need to use an IP address for the ETI/XIP APP that does
not belong to the group of DHCP addresses, but which
is included in the subnet..
Follow the procedure below to activate the account:
- type in the web page: XIP System/Credentials
- select one of the 3 accounts present (not activated by
default);
- to activate the account, set a password and press the

'Save' button (the password can also be blank);
On the smartphone/tablet make sure you have selected
the domestic wi-fi network and that it is connected.
- for Android: launch the XIP Mobile APP on the mobile
device and from the Settings menu

Activity in progress
The kit is pre-configured to manage a single call coming
from a single DVC/08 K-ME entry panel. For different sys-
tem configurations, the kit needs to be re-programmed
using the PCS/XIP programming tool.
System structure recovery procedure
Note. Further Xip locks and licences cannot be added to
the App kit. To add entry panels, accessories and X1 re-
ceivers, you need to use the PCS/XIP programming tool
(version 2.2.0 or above).
With the ETI/XIP APP connected to the LAN network, from
PCS/XIP, from the menu 'File' -> 'Reload from' -> 'ETI/
Kit'

(default 192.168.1.2 or the one previously set); a default
system configuration page will be loaded as shown below.
NOTE. On NO account must the XIP lock on the system
and the X1 unit call_VIDEO_RECEIVER_ be deleted.

Now you can add the missing elements
cover individual elements from a system configured previ-
ously using another tool version too; remember however
that the system file cannot later be opened with previous
tool versions.
Once the system structure has been set, the serial num-
bers for the various devices can be assigned, by typing in
the IP address of the ETI/XIP APP in the properties of the
ETI

Once this procedure has been completed, you can proceed
with programming.
DISPOSAL
Do not litter the environment with packing material:
make sure it is disposed of according to the regulations
in force in the country where the product is used.
When the equipment reaches the end of its life cycle,
take measures to ensure it is not discarded in the envi-

The equipment must be disposed of in compliance with
the regulations in force, recycling its component parts
wherever possible.
Components that qualify as recyclable waste feature the
relevant symbol and the material's abbreviation.
