2) Press the corresponding control knob (10) to select the bus to be
set� The LED underneath the control knob will light up and the
channel strip in the view will be highlighted�
3) The control knobs are used to set the volume for the buses�
4) To assign the input channels and to adjust the signal parts to be
routed from the input signals to the bus selected, press the key
SENDS (8) so that it is illuminated�
The keys MUTE (12) can be used now to assign the corresponding
input channel to the bus selected or to revoke the assignment�
Press the key IN 1– 8 or IN 9 – 20 (8) to go to the corresponding
inputs if required�
5) The control knobs are used now to change the signal part of the
corresponding input� To quickly set the value 0 dB, press the key
SOLO�
6) To assign the bus signals to the stereo sum and to adjust the signal
parts to be routed from the mono buses to the stereo buses, tap
the topmost section of the channel strip� The corresponding Send
view will be displayed (fig� 11)�

7) To assign the bus signal to the stereo sum, tap the button "L&R"
so that it will be displayed in colour�
8) When a mono bus has been selected, this mono bus can be as-
signed to one or more stereo busses via the corresponding button�
The point where the signal is picked up (Pre Fader/Post Fader) can
also be defined� To change the signal part or the stereo position
for assigning a bus, tap the corresponding element to select it and
then use the knob ADJUST (9) to make the setting�
9) The buttons underneath "Insert" are used to select one or two
insert effects of the internal effect processor for the bus (
ter 5�7�1)�
To set the stereo position / stereo balance of a bus signal or to define a
signal delay, tap the lowermost section of the channel strip� The view
shown in fig� 12 will be displayed�

1) Tap the numeric field underneath "BAL" (for stereo buses) or "PAN"
(for mono buses)� The field will have a yellow frame� Use the control
ADJUST (9) to adjust the ratio between the left stereo channel and
the right stereo channel� To make it easier to reset the setting to
the centre position "50|50", tap the display field twice�
2) To activate the signal delay, tap the button "IN" underneath
"Delay"; the button will be displayed in colour� ⓣ in the lower
section of the channel strip will indicate the signal delay�
3) Tap the control displayed on the screen and use ADJUST (9) to
adjust the delay time�
Note: The unit of measurement (ms, ft, m) for all delay settings can be selected
in the setup menu (
4) To deactivate the delay, tap the button "IN" once again�
5) To create the mono sum from the signal of a stereo bus, tap the
button "Sum"�
6) The volume of the bus "Fader" and the functions "Solo" and
"Mute" can be set on the screen in this view: To set the value to
0 dB, tap the value underneath "Fader" twice�
7) When all settings have been made, tap �� to close the window or
X
 or  to make settings for another bus�

5.2.3 Muting a channel

All input channels, signal buses and the sum channel L / R MIX OUTPUT
can be muted separately, for example, when they are not being used�
Muting will also affect the signal parts of the muted channel that are
routed to the buses, regardless of their configuration as "Pre Fader"
or "Post Fader"�
To mute an input channel:
1) When the key SENDS (8) is illuminated, press it so that it is no
longer illuminated�
2) Press the key IN 1– 8 or IN 9 – 20 (8) to go to the view of the corre-
sponding channel if required�
3) Press the key MUTE (12) for the corresponding channel� The key
will be illuminated when the channel is muted and "MUTE" will
be indicated in the lower section of the channel strip�
4) To unmute the channel, press the key MUTE once again�
To mute a signal bus:
1) When the key SENDS (8) is illuminated, press it so that it is no
longer illuminated�
2) Press the key BUS 1– 8 (8) to go to the view of the signal buses if
required�

be illuminated when the channel is muted and "MUTE" will be
indicated in the lower section of the channel strip�
4) To unmute the channel, press the key MUTE once again�
To mute the sum channel:
1) When the key SENDS (8) is illuminated, press it so that it is no

longer illuminated�
2) Press the key MUTE underneath the volume control for the stereo
sum (13)� The key will be illuminated when the channel is muted
and "MUTE" will be indicated in the lower section of the channel
strip�
3) To unmute the sum channel, press the key MUTE once again�
