PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
BARS01 Handset
The handset is composed of a wall unit
with receiver (fig. 1).
The video entry control unit is set up
for the expansion of BAK01 audio entry
control.
WARNING
The system operates at a very low
safety voltage (15.5÷20 V DC sup-
plied directly on BUS line): it must
not be connected to a higher vol-
tage.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR ASSEMBLY
BARS01 Handset
Fix the back plate directly to the wall
(fig. 2) or to the recessed mounting
box (fig. 3 and fig. 4) using the fixings
provided.
For a surface mount cable follow the
instructions in figure 5.
Avoid excessive tightening of screws
on walls that are not perfectly flat.
After making the connections (fig. 6)
(see "INSTRUCTIONS FOR CONNEC-
TION/CONFIGURATION"), place the au-
dio entry control on the metal support
as shown in figure 7.

WARNING
Do not open or tamper with the uni-
ts; live voltage is present in them.

in figure 9÷10.
This is a two wire system using two
polarized conductors.
The following cables can be used:
- twisted pair;
- symmetrical pair cable,
- intercom cable.

JP1 Jumper
(call volume control)
Default (on) position is for normal au-
dio level. Remove JP1 to decrease the
call alert volume.
WARNING: If there are more than
one handset active on the same
call, only two of them will work with
high ring tone.
JP2 Jumper
(Intercom selection)
Default (on) allows intercommunica-
tion with all handsets with the same
JP2 position.
Remove JP2 to communicate with all
other handsets with the same JP2 re-
moved.
JP3 Jumper (call selection)
Default (on) This handset will respond
to button one being called.
Remove JP3 This handset will respond
to button two being called.
In addition JP4 in the entry panel must
also be removed.

The unit has two buttons for the fol-
lowing controls (fig. 1):

also be activated without lifting the
receiver.

activate auxiliaries such as stairs light-
ing, low voltage supplementary and
relay lock release.
It is not advisable to connect the aux-
iliary controls (Aux) of different internal
receivers together.
A call from the external unit is charac-
terized by a dual tone sound.
Intercommunicating operating mode
To call units calling on the same inter-
com group, lift the receiver, push the

button (the call signal is a note with
a continuous tone) and wait for the
connection.
Internal conversation cannot be heard
on the outside.
If a user makes a call to a busy unit an
engaged signal is given.
DISPOSAL
Do not litter the environment with
packing material: make sure it is dis-
posed of according to the regulations
in force in the country where the prod-
uct is used.
When the equipment reaches the end
of its life cycle, take measures to ensure
it is not discarded in the environment.
The equipment must be disposed of
in compliance with the regulations in
force, recycling its component parts
wherever possible.
Components that qualify as recyclable
waste feature the relevant symbol and
the material's abbreviation.

stallationsbeginn gelesen werden.

Vor der Installation der Geräte, auf-

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
Lesen Sie die in dieser Installations-
anleitung die Anweisungen sorgfäl-
tig, weil diese wichtige Hinweise für
die Sicherheit für die Benutzung,
Installation und Wartung geben.

• Prüfen Sie nach dem Entfernen der
Verpackung die Unversehrtheit der
Geräte.
• Die Ausführung der Anlage muss
den gültigen Sicherheitsnormen
entsprechen.
• Um Verletzungen zu vermeiden
müssen die Geräte gemäß den In-
stallationshinweisen an der Wand
befestigt werden.
• Vor der Sprech-/Videosprechge-
rät muss entsprechend der ge-
setzlichen Bestimmung, ein zwei-
poliger Netzschalter installiert
werden.
• Die
Nebensprechstelle
Sprech-/Videosprechgerät und
das Netzgerät müssen vor Tropf-
wasser und Wasserstrahlen ge-
schützt sein.
• Die Öffnungen oder Schlitze zur
Belüftung bzw. Wärmeableitung
nicht verschließen.
• Vor dem Anschluss der Geräte ist
zu prüfen, ob die Kennschilddaten
denen des Stromverteilernetzes
entsprechen.
• Diese Geräte müssen, wie alle zur
Anlage gehörigen Geräte allein für
die Nutzung vorgesehen werden, für
den sie ausgelegt wurden. Jeglicher
anderer Einsatz ist als unsachgemäß
und gefährlich zu betrachten.
• Der Hersteller haftet nicht für Schä-
den, die durch einen unsachge-
mäßen, falschen oder unvernünf-
tigen Gebrauch verursacht wurden.
• Vor jeglichen Reinigungs- oder War-
tungsarbeiten müssen die Geräte
vom Stromversorgungsnetz ge-
trennt werden.
• Bei Defekten und/oder Funktions-
störungen an den Geräten, sind
diese von der Stromversorgung zu
trennen und dürfen nicht verändert
werden.
• Wenden Sie sich für eventuelle Re-
paraturen ausschließlich an eine
vom Hersteller zugelassene Kunden-
dienststelle.
• Die Nichteinhaltung dieser Vor-
schriften kann die Sicherheit der Ge-

• Der Installateur muss sich verge-
wissern, dass die Hinweise für den
Anwender, wo vorgesehen, auf den
Geräten vorhanden sind.

Sprechgarnitur BARS01
Die Sprechanlage besteht aus einem
Gerät für Wandbefestigung mit Hörer
(Abb. 1). Die Sprecheinheit ist für die
Erweiterung mit Sprechanlagen BAK01.
HINWEIS
Das System arbeitet mit einer Si-
cherheitsspannung von 15,5÷20
VDC wird direkt von der BUS-Lei-
tung geliefert, höhere Spannungen
dürfen nicht angeschlossen werden.
ANWEISUNGEN
FÜR DIE MONTAGE
Sprechgarnitur BARS01
Die Wandhalterung direkt an der
Wand (Abb. 2) oder am Unterputz-
kasten (Abb. 3 oder Abb. 4) mit den
beiliegenden Schrauben und Dübeln
befestigen.
Falls die Kabel aus einem externen Ka-
belkanal aus der Wand kommen, den
Anweisungen der Abbildung 5 folgen.
Bei ungeraden Wänden ist ein zu star-
kes Anziehen der Schrauben zu ver-
meiden.
Nach den Anschlüssen (Abb. 6) (sie-
he "ANWEISUNGEN FÜR ANSCHLUSS/
KONFIGURATION") die Sprechanlage,
wie in der Abbildung 7 gezeigt, an der
Metallhalterung anbringen.

HINWEIS
Die Geräte mit 230 VAC Anschluss
nicht öffnen, im Inneren Hochspan-
nung vorhanden.

Geräten werden mit zwei gepolten
Adern hergestellt.
