3. Intended use

The product is designed for measuring oxygen in dissolved form as well as the temperature of
de-energised, non-flammable and non-corrosive liquids. The area of application is domestic
environments but also (fish) ponds, swimming pools, photo laboratories, schools, nurseries,
etc. The meter is not suitable for use in industrial environments (e.g. galvanotechnics). ATC
(automatic temperature compensation) ensures stable measured values, even in the event of
fluctuating temperatures. The salt content and altitude can be manually adjusted. The product
is operated with a 9 V block battery. Alternatively, you may use a suitable power adapter (not
included) to provide power.
For safety and approval purposes, do not rebuild and/or modify this product. Using the product
for purposes other than those described above may damage the product. In addition, improper
use can cause hazards such as a short circuit or fire. Read the operating instructions carefully
and store them in a safe place. If you pass the product on to a third party, please hand over these
operating instructions as well.
