The AWR300 is able to receive the weight from indicators which can send it either via Bluetooth,
or via RS232. There are different scale types supported, also from the major brands on the
market. This function can only be used for Task-Mode and Database Function, where the so
called 'Weight-from-Scale' fields are available.

The Interface Setup contains settings for configuring the
AWR300s several interfaces like RS232, Bluetooth or
WLAN (optional). If your device does not incorporate the
Wi-Fi option, the item 'WLAN' is not shown.
In order to allow devices the communication via RS232, the
connection speed (  baud rate ) needs to be the same on
both devices – otherwise the communication will not work.
The default value of '9600' is common, but quite slow.
Values of up to '115200' are possible.
