CONNECTION OF SENSORS AND EXTERNAL
BLOCKING
Use cable type LiYY, EKKX or similar.
EXTERNAL BLOCKING
A contact (NO) can be connected to AA5-X2:21–22
(active cooling) and/or AA5-X2:23–24 (passive cooling)
to block cooling operation. When the contact closes,
cooling operation is blocked.

EXTERNAL SUPPLY TEMPERATURE SENSOR
(BT25)
If an external heat source or buffer vessel (UKV) is used,
the external supply temperature sensor (BT25) has to
be connected to your compatible heat pump. See the
Installer Manual for the heat pump.
NOTE
The sensor has controlling functions for cooling
and heating.
CONNECTION OF CIRCULATION PUMP, IF
ANY (GP13)
An external circulation pump (GP13) for the climate
system can, if necessary, be connected to HPAC S40.
Connect the circulation pump (GP13) to AA5-X9:8 (230
V), AA5-X9:7 (N) and X21:5 (PE).

DIP SWITCH

The DIP switch (S2) on the accessory board (AA5) must
be set as follows.
RELAY OUTPUT FOR COOLING MODE
INDICATION
there is the option for an external cooling mode indica-
tion through the relay function via a potential-free
switching relay (max. 2 A) on the input board (AA2),
terminal block X27.
If cooling mode indication is connected to terminal block
X27, it must be selected in menu 7.4.
