Repairs

Repairs under warranty are carried out by the manufacturer. Repairs outside the warranty
period should only be carried out by skilled personnel. Failure to observe the assembly and
setting procedures and operation by non-skilled personnel may result in serious damage to
the setting tool. In case of doubt, always send the rivet setting tool back to the supplier or to

Troubleshooting

10.1

Speed rivet cannot be set

Cause
Jaws are dirty
Jaws are worn
Insufficient working pressure
Gun stroke too low
White valve not activated to shut the jaws
10.2

Not possible to reload the speed rivet

Cause
Jaws are closed
Non-return device in wrong position
Non-return device jammed
Wrong spreader nosepiece
Wrong mandrel spring
Remedy
Clean and grease sliding surfaces
(point 8.1)
Replace (point 8.1)
See working pressure (point 4)
Fill with hydraulic oil (point 8.2)
Activate valve
Remedy
Open jaws by pressing the black button
Remove non-return device and replace it
in the correct position (point 7.1)
