Warning
Before beginning installation
procedures, the installation
instructions should be studied
carefully. The installation and
operation should also be in accordance
with local regulations and accepted
codes of good practice.
1. Installation
Warning
Before starting any work on the
SA-SPM, make sure that the electricity
supply has been switched off and that
it cannot be accidentally switched on.

2. Electrical connection

The electrical connection should be carried out by
an authorised electrician in accordance with local
regulations.
Warning
Never make any connections in the
SA-SPM unless the electricity supply
has been switched off. The SA-SPM
must be connected in accordance with
the rules and standards in force for the
application in question.
The supply voltage and frequency are marked on the
nameplate. Make sure that the SA-SPM is suitable
for the electricity supply on which it will be used.
If the SA-SPM is connected to an electric installation
where an earth-leakage circuit breaker (ELCB) is
used as an additional protection, this circuit breaker
must trip out when earth fault currents with DC
content (pulsating DC) occur.
The earth leakage circuit breaker must be marked
with the following symbol:

3. Disposal
This product or parts of it must be disposed of in
an environmentally sound way:
1. Use the public or private waste collection service.
2. If this is not possible, contact the nearest
Grundfos company or service workshop.
