1. Put the MPV support arm [3] in one of the clamp holes
and tighten the screw with the hex key [7].
Note: The clamp has four holes to secure the MPV support
arm in every direction to match individual patient needs.
2. According to the patient circuit configuration: Fix the
end clip [2] to the MPV support arm or fix the extension
[1] to the MPV support arm.
3. Fix the appropriate clip(s) and/or velcro strap(s) on the
MPV support arm.
4. Fix the clamp [6] to the support (eg, wheelchair).
CAUTION
• Check that the MPV support arm is securely fixed
to its support prior to use. When attaching to metal
tubing, attach the clamp on a straight section to
ensure a secure fit.
• Make sure that the mouthpiece is positioned
well within the patient's reach and movement
capabilities at all times.

5. Connect the circuit to the mouthpiece and fix the
complete patient circuit to the support arm with the
assembled clip(s) and/or velcro strap(s).
Cleaning
The MPV support arm can be cleaned using an anti-
bacterial solution on a clean, non-dyed disposable cloth.
The following disinfectants are compatible for cleaning the
MPV support arm:
• Actichlor Plus
• Bleach (1:10) (May also be known as 'dilute
hypochlorite')
• Isopropanol
• Cavicide
• Mikrozid
• Teepol
Disposal
The MPV support arm components do not contain any
hazardous substances and may be disposed of with your
normal household refuse.

Verwendungszweck
Die Mundstückhalterung hält das Mundstück nahe am
Mund des Patienten und fixiert den Beatmungsschlauch.
Einsatz
Die Mundstückhalterung wird bei Patienten eingesetzt,
die eine intermittierende oder kontinuierliche Beatmung
benötigen und einem qualifizierten Arzt zufolge mithilfe
künstlicher Beatmung über ein Mundstück erfolgreich
therapiert werden können. Dies gilt ohne Anspruch auf
Vollständigkeit für Patienten in Rollstühlen und Betten
sowie für die Therapie in der häuslichen Umgebung, in
Einrichtungen bzw. Krankenhäusern sowie bei mobiler
Anwendung.
Allgemeine Vorsichtshinweise
VORSICHT
• Lesen Sie bitte vor dem Gebrauch
der Mundstückhalterung die gesamte
Gebrauchsanweisung.
• Verwenden Sie die Mundstückhalterung nicht, wenn
sie beschädigt ist.
Hinweis: Hinweise zum korrekten Einsatz finden Sie in
den Gebrauchsanweisungen für das Schlauchsystem, das
Mundstück bzw. das Beatmungsgerät.

Montage

Siehe Abbildung A.
1. Stecken Sie die Mundstückhalterung [3] in eines der
Löcher der Befestigungsklemme und ziehen Sie die
Schraube mit dem Inbusschlüssel [7] fest.
Hinweis: Die Befestigungsklemme weist vier Löcher auf,
sodass die Mundstückhalterung je nach Bedarf in jede
Richtung befestigt werden kann.
2. In Abhängigkeit von der Schlauchkonfiguration können
Sie die Schlauchhaltespange [2] oder die Verlängerung
[1] an der Mundstückhalterung befestigen.
