TIPS FÜR EINSTEIGER:

Wenn Sie mit Modellbau beginnen oder das erste Mal mit einer
Werkzeugmaschine wie Unimat 1 zu tun haben, sollten Sie folgende
Grundregeln beachten:
MATERIAL:
1.
Mit einfachem, leicht zu bearbeitendem Material beginnen, also zuerst Holz,
dann erst Metall verwenden!
2.
Die Bearbeitungsgrenzen von Unimat 1 akzeptieren (z. B. wird die
Stichsäge 1 cm dickes Hartholz nie schneiden)!
WERKZEUG:
1.
Sparen Sie nicht beim Werkzeug, gutes ist teuer, hält aber jahrelang.
2.
Nur mit scharfem Werkzeug arbeiten, also entweder regelmäßig nachschlei-
fen (Werkzeugschleifeinrichtung, Zubehör 162 060) oder wechseln
(Sägeblätter).
MASCHINE:
1.
Wie jede Maschine muß Unimat 1 regelmäßig gereinigt und gewartet wer-
den, defekte Teile sofort austauschen!
2.
Unimat 1 ist wie ein Musikinstrument, man kann auf ihr schöne Stücke
spielen, aber sicher noch nicht am ersten Tag!

TIPS FOR BEGINNERS:
If you are beginner in the great of model construction or if you have never worked
with a machine like Unimat 1, you should mind the following principles:
MATERIAL
1.
Start with working easy materials such as wood and plastic and use metal
later on.
2.
Respect the limits of capacity of Unimat 1 (e. g. the jig-saw is not designed
to cut hard-wood with a diameter of 10 mm)!
TOOLS:
1.
Do not save your money on tools. High quality tools are expensive, but they
will serve you for many years.
2.
Only work with sharp tools. So you either sharpen them, or you exchange
them.
MACHINE:
1.
Like every other machine Unimat 1 must be cleaned and maintained at
regular intervals!
2.
Unimat 1 is like a musical instrument: you can produce beautiful pieces on
it, but not on the first day yet!
