Note
The index display shows 10 images at a time from
among those recorded on the card.
When more images have been recorded, press the b
button to display the next page. To return to the
previous page, press the B button.

If you want to play an image in full screen, press the
V, v, B or b button to select the desired image.
A white frame is displayed for the selected image,
and the information on that image, such as the date
and time of recording and the exposure value, is
displayed.
For the displayed information, see "About the index
display".

Press the ENTER button or the INDEX button.
The selected image will be displayed on the LCD
monitor.

Press the PLAY + or – button to display another
image.
Pressing the PLAY + or – button displays the
picture file of the next highest or lowest number in
sequence.
When the playback picture is displayed, the
information on that picture is automatically
displayed on the LCD monitor.

To switch to the index display again, press the
INDEX button.
The window in step 5 appears.

To stop playback, press the H button again or
press the LIVE button.
The LCD monitor displays the live image.

Press the ?/1 (on/standby) switch, and press the
OFF side of the a/? (main power) switch.
About the index display
The information on the selected image is displayed.

Viewing on a Monitor

The camera can be connected to a video monitor
equipped with a video input to display images on the
monitor screen. It is convenient when viewing images
in sequence or for more precise focusing.
Use a video monitor that has a VIDEO or S-VIDEO
input connector (see pages 31 to 33 for connections).
The camera is compatible with both NTSC and PAL
color systems. (See "Switching the NTSC/PAL Select
Switch" on page 24.)

Connect the VIDEO OUTPUT or S-VIDEO
OUTPUT connector on the camera to the video
input of a video monitor using a video cable (not
supplied).

Set the video monitor to video input mode.

Display the live or playback image on the camera.
