Checking the tyres
The tyre manufacturer Schwalbe allows 2-4 bar of pressure for the Super Moto-X 62-
584 tyre. The following applies:
•
The greater your weight, the higher the air pressure you should choose.
•
The rear tyre should be driven with slightly more pressure than the front tyre
(0.2-0.5 bar), as about 60% of the weight is applied to the rear wheel.
In order to take full advantage of the main feature of the balloon tyre, i.e. its
excellent suspension properti es, it should be ridden with low air pressure.
Keep trying unti l you reach the right tyre pressure for you.
Recommendati on: 1.5-2.0 bar for 75 kg body weight.
We recommend that you check the pressure every 2 to 4 weeks, as bike
tubes conti nuously and inevitably lose air.
If the tyre pressure is too low, the risk of snakebite punctures increases.
The result of a snakebite puncture is a fl at tyre.
A tyre damaged by cracks or foreign objects may lose its pressure. There is
a risk of accident!
-> Check for cracks or foreign objects in the tyre.
