2.2.
Stem & handlebar alignment
The vehicle may be delivered with the stem/ handlebar not turned ready to drive.
As a first step, turn the stem/ handlebar in the
direction of motion as follows:
•
Loosen the screws marked red until the stem
can be rotated.
•
Turn stem in blue marked direction.
In a second step you can adjust the handlebar
height. To raise the handlebar:
•
Turn the stem in the direction marked blue.
•
Retighten screws marked red with 14-15 Nm.
Due to the twisting of the stem, the handlebar and all controls have twisted at the
same angle, therefore:
•
Loosen the four screws on the stem clamping
plate so that the handlebar can be rotated in
the stem. If necessary, loosen the clamping
screws of a display and turn the display away.
•
Turn the stem in the opposite direction until
the handlebars and controls are set to suit
you.
•
Tighten all 4 screws on the stem clamping
plate to 6-8 Nm.
2.3.
Adjusting the saddle height
•
The correct saddle height is reached when
your leg is almost straight when putting the
ball of your foot on the pedal. The crank arms
are thereby aligned vertically.
•
To check the saddle height, sit on the vehicle
and lean against a wall, for example.
